Veronika Prieler has been been awarded the Iris Fischlmayr Award of the Johannes Kepler University Linz for her dissertation on Ambivalent regulations and subject formations: Transformations of the care regime using the example of Austrian live-in care. With this award, the JKU Linz honors outstanding theses related to diversity. One day after the award ceremony on July 3, 2023 at the JKU Linz, she received the Award of the Austrian Association for Sociology (ÖGS) for an outstanding sociological dissertation in Vienna.
